What Is LetPsyc?

LetPsyc is Pakistan's leading clinical assessment platform, purpose-built for clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, and mental health professionals across Pakistan. As Pakistan's first practitioner-focused mental health software, LetPsyc combines patient management, validated psychological assessments, longitudinal record keeping, and automated report generation into a single secure workflow.

Designed by Pakistanis for Pakistani clinical realities, LetPsyc serves solo clinicians in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, and across Pakistan, alongside clinics, hospitals, and mental health NGOs. Unlike international clinical software designed for American or European contexts, LetPsyc is engineered for Pakistani clinical reality — tech-friendly enough for new psychology graduates, robust enough for established practitioners.

LetPsyc — FAQ.

Direct answers to the questions mental health professionals ask most about LetPsyc.

What is LetPsyc?

+
LetPsyc is Pakistan's first practitioner-focused clinical assessment platform for mental health professionals. It is a digital infrastructure tool used by clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, and counselors in Pakistan to manage patients, conduct standardized psychological assessments, write session notes, and generate clinical reports. LetPsyc is operated by LetTech, a Pakistani technology company headquartered in Peshawar.

Who uses LetPsyc?

+
LetPsyc is used by three groups of mental health professionals in Pakistan: solo private-practice clinical psychologists and psychiatrists; multi-practitioner clinics with 2 to 15 mental health professionals; and large institutions including hospitals, psychiatric departments, mental health NGOs, universities, and government mental health services.

Which assessments does LetPsyc support?

+
LetPsyc includes BDI-II (Beck Depression Inventory-II), BAI (Beck Anxiety Inventory), Y-BOCS (Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale), MMSE (Mini-Mental State Examination), RISB (Rotter Incomplete Sentence Blank), MMPI, ADHD Assessment Battery, MDQ (Mood Disorder Questionnaire), Big Five Personality Assessment, PANSS (Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale), CARS-2 (Childhood Autism Rating Scale 2nd Edition), BGT (Bender-Gestalt Test), and many more coming soon. All assessments are auto-scored and generate structured clinical reports.

How is LetPsyc different from international mental health software?

+
LetPsyc differs from international platforms like SimplePractice, TherapyNotes, and TheraNest in three primary ways. First, LetPsyc is built specifically for Pakistani clinical context, including local language support, culturally adapted workflows, and Pakistan-relevant assessment instruments. Second, LetPsyc is designed for the technology comfort level of Pakistani clinicians, including those with limited prior software experience. Third, LetPsyc maintains an absolute clinician-patient confidentiality boundary — no administrator, institutional viewer, or LetPsyc staff member can access patient clinical content under any circumstances.

Is LetPsyc secure?

+
Yes. LetPsyc is built on AWS cloud infrastructure with industry-standard security. All patient data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS protocols. Access is restricted to authorized clinicians through secure authentication. The platform maintains strict role-based access controls that prevent any non-clinician from accessing patient clinical content.

Does LetPsyc use AI to diagnose patients?

+
No. LetPsyc does not use AI to diagnose patients or replace clinical decision-making. LetPsyc is a workflow and assessment platform that supports the licensed clinician's work. All clinical interpretation, diagnosis, and treatment decisions remain entirely with the practicing mental health professional.

Is LetPsyc a therapy app for patients?

+
No. LetPsyc is a professional tool for licensed mental health practitioners, not a direct-to-consumer therapy or self-help application. LetPsyc does not provide therapy, does not interact with patients independently, and does not replace clinical judgment. All clinical decisions remain solely with the licensed practitioner using the platform.

Can hospitals integrate LetPsyc with existing systems?

+
Yes. LetPsyc supports integration with hospital information systems through Single Sign-On (SSO), patient ID mapping, HL7/FHIR data exchange standards, and custom API connections. Integration scope is defined during the institutional onboarding phase and typically takes 2 to 16 weeks depending on complexity.

Who founded LetPsyc?

+
LetPsyc was founded by Safeer Ahmad Siddiqui, Founder and CEO of LetTech, alongside co-founder Muhammad Faizan Akhtar. The product is supported by a Clinical Advisory Board of practicing Pakistani clinical psychologists who provide ongoing clinical guidance.
